Jay Hedgecock and his team are some of the most qualified stock car fabricators in the industry with well over 20 years of experience in building stock cars for race teams.

Where will I stay while at the academy?

Approx monthly pricing:

1 bedroom - $1500.00
2 bedroom - $1750.00 /2 = $875.00 per student
3 bedroom - $2100.00 /3 = $700.00 per student

These prices include all utilities, cable TV, linens, towels, living room furniture, kitchen appliances including dishwasher, microwave, dishes, pots/pans, utensils, dining room table/chairs and placemats, complete bedroom suite, and washer/dryer.


Can I share my room with another student to cut costs?

Yes.
We can assist in matching you up with a fellow student. Please let us know if you would like us to find you a roommate.

Can I take a tour of the Hedgecock Racing Academy prior to enrolling?
Absolutely.
We even encourage it. Please contact our office to schedule a personalized tour at your convenience.

What are my chances of getting a job in the racing industry?
Better than average - Currently 50 stock car racing industry professionals were trained at Hedgecock Racing including Jeff Burton and Bobby Labonte just to name a few.

Will I be trained in a real race shop or a classroom?

You will be trained in a real stock car fabrication shop primarily and a classroom for overviews and explanations. The Hedgecock Racing Academy Training & Certification Programs are all hands on as well and reinforced with course manuals and in-class instruction.

No other training program in the US offers a more comprehensive and reputable certification program as does Hedgecock Racing Academy.

What are the qualifications for admission to Hedgecock Racing Academy?
There are no educational qualifications, however, all students must be at least 18 years old. Otherwise, you will need to get a parental consent form signed by a legal guardian.

How long is the course and how many hours a day will we be in training?
Hedgecock Racing Academy's packs everything that you need to know into an intense 9 week training program designed to teach you how to build a stock car from the ground up. The schedule is typically 8 am - 4:30 pm. However, classes may run later if the class or a student needs further instruction. Additionally, there will be training sessions on Saturdays and/or Sundays if necessary at the instructor's discretion.
